Meet Perumal Vellingiri, a passionate wildlife photographer from Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, South India with almost a decade of experience capturing the beauty of the natural world. Despite holding the Master’s degree from the United Kingdom, Perumal chose to pursue his true calling in wildlife photography, driven by an insatiable passion for the subject.
With a strong foundation in photography techniques, Perumal embarked on a journey to explore the wilderness, camera in hand, seeking to freeze moments of wonder. His dedication led him to venture into the heart of jungles, capturing the majesty of wildcats and elephants.
Perumal’s tireless efforts have earned him international recognition, with awards from Russia and Germany, and feature publications in all Indian newspapers. Today, as a photography mentor, he is also teaching the core principles and technical aspects of wildlife photography to people/enthusiasts of all age groups, inspiring others to embrace the art of wildlife photography.
